AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL PARITY RELATED TO FIXED TAX
ASSESSMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 12-65b of the general statutes be amended to provide 1
that, in the case of a municipality where the legislative body is a town 2
meeting and where such municipality has enacted an ordinance 3
delegating authority to enter into agreements under said section to the 4
board of selectmen, the board of selectmen of such municipality may 5
enter into such agreements. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To allow the boards of selectmen, instead of the town meetings, of
certain municipalities to enter into certain agreements to fix
assessments.
