AN ACT CONCERNING THE ASSESSMENT OF BUILDINGS WITH
DEFECTIVE CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit municipalities to 1
adopt ordinances permitting tax assessors to adjust the assessment of 2
any occupied commercial or residential building rendered unsafe for 3
occupation due to a defective concrete foundation to reflect a value of 4
zero dollars. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To permit municipalities to adopt ordinances permitting tax assessors
to adjust the assessment of any occupied commercial or residential
building rendered unsafe for occupation due to a defective concrete
foundation to reflect a value of zero dollars.
