Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require that long-term care 1 facilities allow residents to use communication devices in their rooms to 2 remain connected with their loved ones and to permit family caregivers 3 to participate as members of the resident's care team. 4 Statement of Purpose: To require that long-term care facilities allow residents to use communication devices in their rooms.
