AN ACT AUTHORIZING TWELVE -HOUR SHIFT OPTIONS FOR
NURSING HOME STAFF.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 19a-562g of the general statutes be amended to authorize 1
nursing home facilities to offer staff options to work twelve-hour shifts. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To align staffing shift options at nursing home facilities with other
health care institutions.
