AN ACT CONCERNING NURSING HOME STAFFING LEVELS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Commissioner of Public Health, or an advisory group established by the 2
commissioner, to review and consider expanding reporting obligations 3
and enforcement measures regarding staffing at nursing home facilities 4
pursuant to sections 19a-562f to 19a-562h, inclusive, of the general 5
statutes. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure staffing levels are adequate at nursing home facilities and
additional accountability for nursing home facilities that violate
requirements concerning staffing levels.
