AN ACT CONCERNING COMMUNITY GUN VIOLENCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish an entity to identify 1
and implement evidence-based programs and strategies that are 2
focused on the community and effective at reducing street-level gun 3
violence in urban and other areas most effected by gun homicides. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To create an initiative to reduce street-level gun violence in the state's
largest urban areas and those areas most effected by gun homicides.
