AN ACT CONCERNING PUBLIC SAFETY ANSWERING POINTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) revise the funding 1
formula for public safety answering points by accounting for call 2
volume and population served, and (2) consolidate certain public safety 3
answering points in order to share costs and realize savings. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To modify the current funding of public safety answering points and
consolidate such answering points to better serve public safety needs.
