AN ACT CONCERNING THE EFFECTS OF CRUMBLING
FOUNDATIONS ON EDUCATION COST-SHARING GRANT AMOUNTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-262h of the general statutes be amended to revise the 1
education cost-sharing grant formula to prevent a town from receiving 2
a reduction in its equalization aid grant amount as a result of the effects 3
of crumbling foundations in the town. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that a town does not receive a reduction in its education cost-
sharing grant amount as a result of a decrease in its grand list due to
crumbling foundations in the town.
