AN ACT PERMITTING THE REDUCTION OF THE MINIMUM BUDGET
REQUIREMENT FOR ALLIANCE DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-262j of the general statutes be amended to permit a 1
local or regional board of education for a town designated as an alliance 2
district pursuant to section 10-262u of the general statutes to reduce its 3
budgeted appropriation for education. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To permit an alliance district to reduce its minimum budget
requirement.
