AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PERSONAL INCOME TAX DEDUCTION
FOR CERTAIN VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 12-701 of the general statutes be amended to establish a 1
personal income tax deduction for volunteer firefighters who receive a 2
property tax abatement from a municipality pursuant to section 12-81w 3
of the general statutes, in the amount of such abatement. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a personal income tax deduction for volunteer firefighters
who receive a property tax abatement from a municipality pursuant to
section 12-81w of the general statutes, in the amount of such abatement.
