AN ACT CONCERNING THE INTERSTATE COMPACT TO PHASE OUT
CORPORATE GIVEAWAYS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to adopt the interstate compact 1
to phase out corporate giveaways, under which member states agree not 2
to offer or provide company-specific tax incentives or company-specific 3
grants as inducement to companies to relocate to the offering state. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To adopt the interstate compact to phase out corporate giveaways.
