AN ACT SUBJECTING CERTAIN PRIVATE ENTITIES THAT SERVE A GOVERNMENTAL FUNCTION TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT AND THE CODES OF ETHICS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapters 10 and 14 of the general statutes be amended to require 1 private entities with board members appointed by state government 2 officials and that serve a governmental function to be subject to the 3 Freedom of Information Act and the codes of ethics. 4 Statement of Purpose: To subject certain private entities that serve a governmental function to the Freedom of Information Act and the codes of ethics.
