Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 1-4 of the general statutes be amended to establish 1
Juneteenth Independence Day as a legal holiday. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To establish Juneteenth Independence Day as a legal holiday.
