Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapter 14 of the general statutes be amended to authorize the 1 removal of addresses of victims of family violence, as defined in section 2 46b-38a of the general statutes, from records subject to disclosure under 3 the Freedom of Information Act. 4 Statement of Purpose: To protect the safety of family violence victims by allowing them to remove their addresses from publicly available information.
