AN ACT CONCERNING LIQUOR PERMITS FOR OUTDOOR VENUES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 30 of the general statutes be amended to change the 1
definitions of "cafe" and "restaurant" to include seasonal outdoor open-2
air venues including, but not limited to, tented areas served by mobile 3
facilities such as mobile kitchens and restrooms. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for the full service of alcoholic beverages at seasonal outdoor
venues in response to the demand for such venues during the COVID-
19 public health emergency and beyond.
