AN ACT ADDING ADDITIONAL STUDENT MEMBERS TO THE BOARD
OF REGENTS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10a-1a of the general statutes be amended to add two 1
additional members of the student advisory committee to serve as 2
members of the Board of Regents for Higher Education. One such 3
student shall be enrolled at a state university in the Connecticut State 4
University System or Charter Oak State College and the other such 5
student shall be enrolled at a regional community-technical college, 6
each elected by a consensus vote of the student advisory committee. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To add two additional student advisory committee members to the
Board of Regents for Higher Education.
