AN ACT EXEMPTING CERTAIN INFORMATION CONCERNING CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS FROM PUBLIC DISCLOSURE UNDER THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That subdivision (28) of subsection (b) of section 1-210 of the general 1 statutes be amended to expand the current exemption from public 2 disclosure concerning claims of faulty or failing foundations to include 3 potential claims and to include information provided to constituent 4 units of higher education concerning such claims or potential claims for 5 research purposes. 6 Statement of Purpose: To exempt information provided to the constituent units of higher education concerning the concentration of pyrrhotite in concrete foundations for research purposes.
