AN ACT ALLOWING CERTAIN SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION
ASSISTANCE BENEFICIARIES TO USE ELECTRONIC BENEFIT
TRANSFER CARDS AT PARTICIPATING RESTAURANTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to authorize 1
recipients of supplemental nutrition assistance who are elderly, 2
homeless or have disabilities to use electronic benefit transfer cards at 3
participating restaurants. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize the use of electronic benefit transfer cards at participating
restaurants by supplemental nutrition assistance beneficiaries who are
elderly, homeless or have disabilities.
