AN ACT CONCERNING LONG -TERM CARE INSURANCE PREMIUM
RATE INCREASES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 38a-501 and 38a-528 of the general statutes be amended 1
to require insurers that file rate increases of twenty per cent or more for 2
long-term care insurance policies to spread such increases over not less 3
than five years. 4
Statement of Purpose:
