AN ACT CONCERNING CRIMINAL RECORD EXPUNGEMENT FOR CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 54 of the general statutes be amended to provide for a 1 person to apply for and receive an automatic expungement of such 2 person's criminal record in the case of misdemeanors or felony drug 3 offenses if such person has been released from incarceration for ten 4 years or longer without a subsequent conviction. 5 Statement of Purpose: To provide for a person to apply for and receive an automatic expungement of such person's criminal record in the case of misdemeanors or felony drug offenses if such person has been released from incarceration for ten years or longer without a subsequent conviction.
