AN ACT CONCERNING THE MOST EFFECTIVE USE OF PRETRIAL
DIVERSIONARY PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to most effectively use pretrial 1
diversionary programs and decrease the chances that the criminal 2
justice system will affect arrested persons beyond the reason for which 3
they were arrested. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To most effectively use pretrial diversionary programs and decrease the
chances that the criminal justice system will affect arrested persons
beyond the reason for which they were arrested.
