AN ACT EXPANDING WORKERS' COMPENSATION COVERAGE FOR
CERTAIN FIRST RESPONDERS AND OTHER PERSONNEL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to expand workers' 1
compensation coverage in certain situations that result in mental or 2
emotional impairment, including post-traumatic stress disorder, to 3
incorporated volunteer emergency medical service personnel, first 4
responder dive teams, K9 search and rescue personnel and dispatchers. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To expand workers' compensation coverage for additional first
responders and other personnel suffering from post-traumatic stress
disorder.
