AN ACT CONCERNING JUST CAUSE DISMISSALS FOR MUNICIPAL
FIRE CHIEFS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 7-302 of the general statutes be amended to require just 1
cause to dismiss a municipal fire chief. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit a municipality from dismissing a fire chief without just
cause.
