AN ACT CONCERNING 9 -1-1 DISPATCHERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide telecommunicators, 1
as defined in section 28-30 of the general statutes, with the same benefits 2
and access to resources as other first responder positions, such as police 3
officers, firefighters and emergency medical services personnel. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To allow 9-1-1 dispatchers to have the same benefits and access to
resources as other first responders.
