AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONCESSION AGREEMENT FOR
HIGHWAY SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the Commissioner 1
of Transportation from renewing the concession agreement for highway 2
services until the commissioner undertakes a competitive bid process 3
and receives disclosures regarding gasoline pricing and sale practices to 4
ensure fair and transparent gasoline pricing. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent gasoline zone pricing at service plazas owned by the state
when the concession agreement for highway services is renewed.
