AN ACT GRANTING TEMPORARY UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS TO
CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS DURING A COVID-19 RELATED PUBLIC
HEALTH EMERGENCY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow individuals who are 1
disqualified from accessing unemployment benefits because of such 2
individuals' debt to the state to be temporarily granted such benefits 3
during a COVID-19 related public health emergency. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To allow individuals who are disqualified from accessing
unemployment benefits because of such individuals' debt to the state to
be temporarily granted such benefits during a COVID-19 related public
health emergency.
