AN ACT ELIMINATING THE TIP CREDIT AND THE USE OF FEDERAL
MINIMUM WAGE EXEMPTIONS FOR EMPLOYERS OF DISABLED
PERSONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to eliminate: (1) The tip credit, and 1
(2) the use of federal minimum wage exemptions for employers of 2
disabled persons.3
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the tip credit and to eliminate the use of federal minimum
wage exemptions for employers of disabled persons.
