AN ACT CONCERNING TH E IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON HIGHER
EDUCATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Office of Higher Education shall 1
conduct a study relating to the impact of COVID-19 on higher education 2
in the state. Not later than January 1, 2022, the office shall submit a 3
report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general 4
statutes, of the results of such study to the joint standing committee of 5
the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to higher 6
education and employment advancement. 7
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 from passage New section
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Office of Higher Education to conduct a study regarding
the impact of COVID-19 on higher education in the state. Raised Bill No. 6401
