AN ACT ESTABLISHING A LAW ENFORCEMENT SU PPORT OFFICE
PROGRAM ACCOUNT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2021) There is established an 1
account to be known as the "law enforcement support office program 2
account" which shall be a separate, nonlapsing account within the 3
General Fund. The account shall contain any moneys required by law to 4
be deposited in the account which shall include, but not be limited to, 5
all fees paid to the Military Department by local law enforcement 6
agencies of this state to participate in the law enforcement support 7
program described in 10 USC 2576a, as amended from time to time, and 8
administered by said department. Moneys in the account shall be 9
expended by the Adjutant General for the purpose of administering the 10
operations of the law enforcement support program. 11
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
