LCO No. 3440 1 of 2 General Assembly Raised Bill No. 6460 January Session, 2021 LCO No. 3440 Referred to Committee on GENERAL LAW Introduced by: (GL) AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF THE IMPACT OF EXTENDING ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR SER VICE HOURS AT GAMING AND OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) The Commissioner of Consumer 1 Protection shall study the potential impact of extending alcoholic liquor 2 service hours at gaming and other establishments regulated pursuant to 3 title 30 of the general statutes and located not more than fifty miles from 4 any border of this state. 5 (b) Not later than January 1, 2022, the Commissioner of Consumer 6 Protection shall, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of 7 the general statutes, report his or her findings pursuant to the study 8 required by subsection (a) of this section to the joint standing committee 9 of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to 10 general law. 11 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: Raised Bill No. 6460 LCO No. 3440 2 of 2 Section 1 from passage New section Statement of Purpose: To study the impact of extending alcoholic liquor service hours at gaming and other establishments.
