AN ACT EXPANDING THE DIAPER BANK TO INCLUDE FEMININE
HYGIENE PRODUCTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2021) The sum of ____ dollars is 1
appropriated to the Department of Social Services, from the General 2
Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, to provide funding to the 3
Diaper Bank of Connecticut to provide feminine hygiene products to 4
women who meet income eligibility standards established by the Diaper 5
Bank of Connecticut. 6
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 July 1, 2021 New section
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding to the Diaper Bank of Connecticut so that it may
provide feminine hygiene products to women of limited income.
