Instead, it requires the Environment Committee to convene a working group for developing recommendations for phasing out polystyrene trays in each school district, regional school district, regional vocational technical school, and constituent unit of higher education by July 1, 2023. This has no fiscal impact as the Chairs of the Environment Committee has the expertise to make legislative recommendations.
