Primary Analyst: DC 4/14/21 Contributing Analyst(s): CP OFA Fiscal Note State Impact: None Municipal Impact: None Explanation The bill adds four members to the 20-member Commission for Education Technology (CET) within the Department of Administrative Services. The responsibilities of the commission include designing and managing the State Educational Technology Goals and Plan. The CET is responsible for coordinating the integration of technology into Connecticut’s schools, libraries, and higher education institutions. Annually by January first, the CET shall report to the State Board of Education, and the Board of Regents for Higher Education on its activities and progress made in the attainment of the state-wide technology goals. The changes within the bill adds task force members and extends the reporting deadline have no fiscal impact as they solely impact workloads. State Impact: None Municipal Impact: None
