The amendment creates a thirteen-member task force to examine the uniform investigation of the accident report and consider modifications. The task force shall address the length of such form and the time needed by police officers and other individuals investigating an accident to complete such form. Not later than January 1, 2023, the task force shall submit a report on its findings and recommendations to the public safety committee. The task force shall terminate on the date that it submits such report or January 1, 2023, whichever is later. This amendment has no fiscal impact as PA 17-236 prohibits transportation allowances for task force members.
