Explanation
The bill establishes an expedited system for approval of permits for
outdoor food and beverage service by local zoning officers. It also
specifies that any such activity authorized pursuant to the Governor's
Executive Order 7MM shall be deemed approved and permitted. The
bill sets these provisions into effect until March 31, 2022.
These changes have no fiscal impact, as they do not impact the cost
of administering any local zoning ordinance.
