The amendment permits health carriers to remove a drug from a
plan's drug formulary if its price increases by more than 5% in a thirty-
day period. The amendment may reduce the costs to fully-insured
municipalities in the underlying bill to the extent such drugs would
have otherwise been required to remain in the formulary for the
remainder of the plan year.
