The Out Years
The bill repeals any municipal ordinance that prohibits or limits a
municipality's ability to share services with other municipalities. Any
impact would depend on the extent to which this facilitates service
sharing among municipalities, and the terms of those service sharing
agreements.
The bill also allows any group of collective bargaining units to
establish a coalition collective bargaining unit. Any impact would
depend on the terms of any collective bargaining agreements entered
in to by such a coalition.
House "A" strikes the underlying bill and results in the above
identified fiscal impact.
