AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
LAWS OF THIS STATE.

Explanation
The bill establishes a six-member working group to study the laws
of criminal procedure of this state. Such study shall include, at a
minimum, a review of title 54 of the general statutes for the purpose of
recommending legislative changes.
The working group shall submit a report on its findings and
recommendations to the judiciary committee by January 1, 2022. The
working group shall terminate on the date that it submits such report
or January 1, 2022, whichever is later.
This bill has no fiscal impact as PA 17-236 prohibits transportation
allowances for working group members.
