The amendment strikes the language in the underlying bill and the 
associated fiscal impact. 
The amendment requires the Department of Social Services (DSS) to 
allocate any funding appropriated for the purpose of expanding 
medical assistance to persons without legal immigration status to 
support organizations that support homeless veterans. Of this funding, 
DSS must allocate $6,925,000 in FY 22 and FY 23 to certain organizations 
specified in the amendment.
