RESOLUTION PROPOSING A STATE CONSTITUTIONAL
AMENDMENT CONCERNING TWELVE -YEAR TERM LIMITS FOR
LEGISLATORS AND CONSTITUTIONAL OFFICERS.
Resolved by this Assembly:
That section 10 of article third of the Constitution of the state be 1
amended to provide that no senator or representative shall serve more 2
than six terms in such office and that section 2 of article fourth of the 3
Constitution of the state be amended to provide that no constitutional 4
officer shall serve more than three terms in such office. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To establish term limits for legislators and constitutional officers.
