AN ACT PROHIBITING CERTAIN HEALTH CARRIERS AND PHARMACY BENEFITS MANAGERS FROM EMPLOYING COPAY ACCUMULATOR PROGRAMS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require certain 1 health carriers and pharmacy benefits managers to give credit for 2 payments made by third parties for the amount of, or any portion of the 3 amount of, an insured's or enrollee's cost-sharing liability for a covered 4 benefit. 5 Statement of Purpose: To require certain health carriers and pharmacy benefits managers to give credit for payments made by third parties for the amount of, or any portion of the amount of, an insured's or enrollee's cost-sharing liability for a covered benefit.
