Explanation
The bill makes it a discriminatory employment practice for an
employer to request or require a prospective employee’s age, date of
birth, or graduation date on certain employment applications.
This is not anticipated to result in a fiscal impact to the state or
municipalities as few complaints are anticipated to be filed with the
Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities.
