AN ACT CONCERNING THE RECALCULATION OR CAPPING OF 
CERTAIN STATE EMPLOYEE PENSIONS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to either: (1) Require the 1 
recalculation of all state employee pensions over one hundred fifty 2 
thousand dollars per year based on the employee's salary over the final 3 
five years of employment; or (2) cap state employee pensions at one 4 
hundred twenty thousand dollars per year. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To lower state employee retirement costs by capping or recalculating 
certain high-cost pensions.
