AN ACT CONCERNING PESTICIDE REGULATION. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1 
Energy and Environmental Protection to restrict the use of pesticides on 2 
private and public properties to those substances deemed non-3 
carcinogenic by the World Health Organization's International Agency 4 
for Research on Cancer, enable municipalities to restrict the use of 5 
pesticides on such properties and require said department to establish a 6 
publicly available electronic database for the registration of pesticide 7 
use in the state .  8 
Statement of Purpose:   
To eliminate the use of toxic pesticides that affect  the environment and 
human health.
