AN ACT ELIMINATING THE REQUIREMENT FOR A CERTIFICATE OF
NEED FOR SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the 1
requirement that a substance use disorder treatment facility obtain a 2
certificate of need. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To increase access to programs offering substance use disorder
treatment.
