AN ACT CONCERNING THE WAIVER OF FEES FOR A FINGERPRINT
SEARCH FOR A MUNICIPAL VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 29-11 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the 1
Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection from 2
requiring a municipality to provide proof of insurance as a condition of 3
receiving a waiver of the fee for a fingerprint search for a volunteer 4
firefighter. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To facilitate volunteer public safety services by prohibiting the
Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection from
requiring a municipality to provide proof of insurance as a condition of
receiving a waiver of the fee for a fingerprint search for a volunteer
firefighter.
