AN ACT REQUIRING THE COMPTROLLER TO FUND THE UNFUNDED
PENSION LIABILITY PORTION OF FRINGE BENEFIT COSTS FOR
THE UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT HEALTH CENTER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 34 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Comptroller to fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, and for each 2
fiscal year thereafter, the unfunded pension liability portion of the 3
fringe benefit costs for The University of Connecticut Health Center. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To facilitate the privatization of The University of Connecticut Health
Center, or the ability of the health center to enter into public-private
partnerships.
