Explanation 
The bill establishes a fourteen-member task force to study cancer 
relief benefits for firefighters. 
Not later than January 1, 2022, the task force shall submit a report 
on its findings and recommendations to the Labor Committee. The 
task force shall terminate on the date that it submits such report or 
January 1, 2022, whichever is later.  
This bill has no fiscal impact as PA 17-236 prohibits transportation 
allowances for task force members. 
Senate "A" adds the ranking members of the Labor Committee to 
the task force, increasing the membership to fourteen members. Senate 
"A" has no fiscal impact.
