AN ACT CLARIFYING THE PROCESS BY WHICH PERSONS WITH
COGNITIVE DISORDERS EXECUTE WILLS AND CODICILS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 45a of the general statutes be amended to clarify the process 1
by which individuals suffering from dementia and other cognitive 2
disorders execute wills or codicils.3
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure clarity in the law regarding the execution of wills and codicils
by individuals with cognitive disorders.
