AN ACT CONCERNING TAXPAYER DONATIONS FOR STATE
OPERATIONS AND LIABILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 12 of the general statutes be amended to allow an 1
individual taxpayer to include a donation with the taxpayer's personal 2
income tax return filing, such donation to be credited, in accordance 3
with the taxpayer's designation, to the General Fund, the Special 4
Transportation Fund, the unfunded past service liability of the state 5
employees retirement system or the unfunded past service liability of 6
the teachers' retirement system. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To allow an individual taxpayer to include a donation for state
operations and liabilities with the taxpayer's personal income tax return
filing.
